Bisbee, AZ, Release: January 3, 2020. For immediate release

A new exhibition by London based duo The Connor Brothers “If It’s Not Weird, I’m Not Interested” opens February 1st, 2020 at Artemizia Gallery, Bisbee, AZ.

The Connor Brothers is the pseudonym for artists Mike Snelle and James Golding. They have exhibited in London, New York, Hong Kong, Germany, Los Angeles, Sydney, Melbourne, Cape Town and Johannesburg. And now Bisbee!

The show features 22 works of art created by Snelle and Golding at their studio in London, England.

In addition, The Connor Brothers and Artemizia have joined forces to raise money for Bisbee’s Verhelst Recovery House through the sale of a special edition of 50 signed prints, proceeds to benefit the program which has been helping men recover from drug and alcohol dependencies since 1969. Verhelst Director Andy Enriquez said “I feel like it’s Christmas all over again”.

“The Connor Brothers work explores the boundary between truth and fiction, and raises questions about how we construct meaning from experience. By blurring the line between truth and fiction the artists puncture a hole in our every day construction of reality and through this pin prick we catch a glimpse of an altogether larger world with infinitely more possibilities.”
